The best way to play, is by using both keyboard and mouse.  Although this may be difficult at first, with practice you can and will play better, fight harder, and react quicker to your opponent.

Use noise clues to determine where your opponent may be.

Keep moving, and jump while shooting opponent, this makes for a harder target and a longer life for you.

I usually play on www.heat.net, Mplayer, and utilize Gamespy.  They all offer free multiplayer play.

Keep fragging and have fun!
